1. What this covers
claudebooks is a private internal tool owned and operated by Great South Land Design Pty Ltd (ABN 62 665 115 355). This agreement covers its use by our own staff. It is not licensed, sold or made available to anyone outside our company.
2. Who may use it
Only staff and contractors of Great South Land Design, working on our own billing and accounts, and only on company equipment. There is no public sign up and no way for another business to connect their own QuickBooks company to it.
3. What it does
claudebooks connects to our own QuickBooks Online company file and reads our invoices, our customer records and our payment records, so we can check what has been invoiced and reconcile it against our internal job tracking. It is read only. It does not create, change or delete anything in QuickBooks.
4. Acceptable use
Users must not use claudebooks to access any QuickBooks company other than ours, extract client data for any purpose other than our own billing, or share the credentials with anyone outside the company. Credentials are held in the macOS Keychain on company equipment and are not to be copied elsewhere.
5. Data
How claudebooks handles data is set out in our privacy policy. In short, the data it reads is our own accounting data, it stays on our equipment, and it is not shared with third parties.
6. Availability
claudebooks is an internal tool provided as is. We give no warranty that it will be available or error free, and it may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice. Because it is read only, it cannot alter the accounting records it reads, and QuickBooks remains the system of record.
7. Ending access
We may withdraw access at any time. Access can also be revoked from the QuickBooks admin settings, which immediately stops all access.
8. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
